Ripe Pu'er tea, coming from the Lancang river, a region known for producing excellent Pu'er tea.
When stored in cool, dry conditions, Pu'er tea does not degrade. Indeed, many varieties noticably improve when aged, and are intentionally kept many years before drinking.
It has the aroma of agarwood, wheat, and slightly wild flowers. It has a unique agarwood, mellow taste, with a long-lasting, sweet aftertaste.
Use 8 g with 200 ml water. Steep in hot water at 95 °C for 10 seconds. Decant from brewing vessel and set aside leaves for subsequent brewings. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewings. For best results, discard a rinse of new leaves with a quick preparatory brewing before brewing to drink.
